Road trips are the best alternative to a pricey flight! They are not only cost effective and extremely practical, but they make for some of the best memories. Also, what better feeling than hitting the open road with your family or some of your best friends!?

This past summer my sister and I road tripped with my grandparents to San Fransico, CA. I had never been to California before and it was everything I could have imagined and more! From seeing the Golden Gate Bridge to seeing the house featured in the hit show Full House and to eating some of the best crabs I have every tasted, San Fransico was truly amazing.

Other than the factor of time, road trips in my opinion are the best way to travel. The way I see it though if you are on the road with your favorite people, why rush time? With all the technology we have today, it is so easy to plan for a road trip. Once you decide where to go, the map and directions are right in front of you with just the touch of an app. I recently discovered this website that gives a lot of useful apps when planning a road trip. From what hotels to stay in to restaurants to dine in along the way, this website has it all!
